i make a greater impact on the planet

At Bonduelle, we offer our talent the opportunity to work on meaningful missions that aim to preserve the planet’s resources while providing healthy plant-based products to millions of consumers around the world.
We offer the opportunity to be part of our transformation into a positive impact company as we work to inspire the transition toward a plant-based diet, to contribute to people's well-being and planet health.

2025
objectives

  • 100% of cultivated lands with alternative agricultural techniques
  • Reducing by 20% our GHG emissions by 2035
  • 100% of our packaging designed to be recyclable or reusable

At Bonduelle, everyone can launch initiatives, whatever their role in the company, and thus contribute to our CSR objectives. Let’s discover some examples !

We don't
waste

Since tomorrow's challenge will be to feed 9 billion people, at Bonduelle we don't waste. 100% of the vegetables harvested are used. None of our vegetables are thrown away. For example, a bean that is not the right size may be used in another recipe. Even green bean stalks are used for compost, to feed animals or for methanation to produce energy.

We donate products, like canned foods that have been slightly dented but are still usable, to help fight against food waste. Our factories donate the surplus from their daily activities as well as products nearing their expiration dates to local charities.

We design more
circular products

The vast majority (>89%) of the packaging materials used by Bonduelle are designed to be recyclable or reusable). Significant technical and operational difficulties nevertheless exist in making the remaining non-recyclable and non-reusable materials, which make up only a small proportion of packaging, recyclable or reusable.

For example, Bonduelle is continuing its work to replace non-recyclable multi-layer flexible films, particularly for its frozen ranges.

As of June 30, 2020, 85%(1) of land is cultivated by its farming partners using a combination of alternative cultivation techniques
