The Process Engineering Intern will collaborate with the Engineering and Production teams in process optimization studies, developing new process control tools or improving the ones that are already in place to reach better results. 

  • Apply the principles of mass balance and perform line time studies of plant processes to assure that the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are aligned to the targets, including gathering samples from the process, measuring, and analyzing data using electronic tools.
  • Suggest technical and operational improvements related to the mass balance and line time study analyses.
  • Analyze data from quality control department to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in improving and maintaining the process control tools and databases.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to perform process validation studies.

  • Knowledge of six-sigma and lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Experience working on process optimization projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a concentration in industrial, mechanical or chemical engineering.
