The Bonduelle Group's commitment to sustainable agriculture, at the heart of tomorrow's food challenges.
"Socially-conscious agriculture and food" is the theme of this SIA 2016 edition that will place from the 27th of February to the 6th of March. An opportunity for Bonduelle to highlight its agricultural upstream industry and, more broadly, its entire agronomic sector. Hence, Bonduelle and its agricultural partners will "open their fields" to the public at large during the 9 days of the SIA: how and where vegetables grow? How are they harvested, then packaged prior to end up in your plate? Did you know that 80% of Bonduelle vegetables sold in France are grown in France? That the Group's production sites are located right at heart of growing areas or that there is absolutely no preservative in a can? The agricultural show is also: 9 days rich in encounters, activities, but also in pedagogy around the vegetable sector. Against the backdrop of a major challenge: to feed 9 billion people by 2050, while respecting the environment.
An agronomic sector at the core of the Bonduelle Group's CSR commitment.
The Bonduelle Group's involvement in upstream agriculture is an integral part of the company's genes; its agronomic organisation is one of the fundamental values inherent to its mission: "To be the world reference in "well living" through vegetable products". Sustainable agriculture is a crucial issue for Bonduelle, whose primary working tool remains the land. Aware of the challenges it faces, the company commits every day to produce quality vegetables accessible to all. In an ever changing agriculture, Bonduelle reconciles economic & social stakes and respect for the planet.
