Return of the canned-vegetables activity at the Tecumseh site

Less than a week after the fire at Tecumseh, the production lines for canned peas started back up again! 75 employees have already returned to work at the plant. In parallel, we're back on track for starting the maize campaign on schedule.

The fire, which started following an electrical problem, destroyed the warehouse and despite the fireproof doors, caused damage to the surrounding areas. No one was injured, and the building was evacuated in a calm manner according to safety procedures.

The frozen foods activity should start back up again within the next two weeks.

We would like to highlight the impressive level of responsiveness of our American Bonduelle employees who, thanks to their motivation and professionalism, reduced the negative impacts of the fire. And the exceptional work of the fire-fighters who managed to save a large area of the plant.
