Acquisition of Ready Pac Foods

Bonduelle is pursuing its growth on the American continent and is entering the fresh market with the acquisition of Ready Pac Foods, the leader in individually portioned salads in the United States with almost 85% of the market share in 2017. The takeover brings the group 3500 new employees and 4 production plants located in Irwindale (CA), Jackson (GA), Florence (NJ) and Swedesboro (NJ). 

This transaction is an important step forward in Bonduelle’s strategic ambition VegeGo! 2025, and completely changes its profile, making the United States its number one operating country and the fresh sector its number one business segment.

Ready Pac Foods, renamed Bonduelle Fresh Americas, becomes Bonduelle’s fifth business unit, devoted to the fresh market in the Americas alongside Bonduelle Americas Long Life (headquartered in Montreal) for canned and frozen products.
