Bonduelle starts its Fresh range with "Salade Minute"

1997 - L'usine de salades de Genas-Lyon

[Translate to Anglais:] Bonduelle signe des accords sur l’Aménagement et la Réduction du Temps de Travail.

The group starting working in a new domain - Fresh foods - which in itself was a technological and strategic turning point, equally as important as the frozen foods domain in 1962 and sweetcorn in 1978. The Fresh foods - also known as the cut and washed range - follows contrary preservation concepts: harvesting is required year-round, and transport and packaging must be carried out as close to the point of sale as possible as the vegetables are to be consumed within 10 days after production.

In January 1997, Bonduelle took over "Salade Minute" and 4 specially dedicated plants.
