Just a barn to start off with

1926 - A Renescure, les premiers hectares de pois

In Renescure (North of France), the company's birthplace, Pierre and Benoît Bonduelle turned a former barn into a cannery (still far from being a plant) by installing a pea sheller, copper containers, a canning machine, a pedal-run sealing machine, etc.

In the spring time, 16 hectares of peas were sown. In July, the very first "Bonduelle peas" campaign ended, with 90,000 canned produced.
