Mission

Reporting to the Director of Retail Sales, the Business Sales Analyst will support key functions for the Account Managers &

Director as advised in support of the team’s Fiscal objectives. Your role is to understand the business needs, to capture, analyze

and document the requirements and communicate it to your team. You will also help manage the internal documentation

elements of customer tracking and relationship management.



- Develop & implement weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales reports and conduct analysis. Track sales vs.

committed booking, highlight variances to sales team.


- Work closely with Category Management team to provide actionable category insights to account management team

(distribution, promotion effectiveness, listing/delisting recommendations and planograms)


- Management of Customer pricing (customer cost sheets/deal portal entries, sharing with Customer Service and

Finances).


- Monitor daily/weekly service levels and communicate root cause for shortages and in-stock recovery dates to

customers.


- Collaborate with customer replenishment, sales & demand planning, in an effort to ensure & improve forecast

accuracy.


- Work with Demand Planning Manager to help create and maintain all item forecasts to ensure forecast is aligned with

customer specific anticipated demand and adjusted to reflect planned promotions as secured.


- Monitor and validate promotions execution by customers for future analysis.


- Manage reconciliation of deductions and work to resolve discrepancies.


- When required, attend customer meetings with Account Managers to provide support as needed.


- Coordinate sample orders, and conduct store visits from time to time to gather market intelligence and retail audits

when required.


- Communicate monthly account priorities to broker: assortment changes, promotional support, store activations.


Profile

REQUIREMENTS:


- University Degree or College Diploma


- 3 years of relevant experience in Canada Consumer Packaged Goods is a must.


- Minimum of 1 - 3 years’ experience with customer data portals (ie. Sobeys IRi, WM Retail Link, LCL Precima, Dunnhumby,

etc.).


- Problem solver with analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and interpersonal skills.


- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills.


- Experience with Google G-Suite and related applications.


- Good communication skills including both verbal and written.


- Must be a strong multi-tasker and meet established deadlines.
