Our Fairwater, WI location is looking for a skilled Electrician who is dependable and a team player! 

As an Electrician you will serve as a resource and key member of the maintenance department in all matters regarding the facility electrical and automated systems

  • Assist in the dismantling, design, changing machinery or equipment in as far as the fulfillment of equipment power requirements
  • Makes repairs to all electrical equipment as needed
  • Assist machine operators with troubleshooting and sorters set up and optimization
  • Change and modify blueprints after changes and modifications have been made to equipment
  • Maintain all basic hand tools to do all repairs
  • Overhaul equipment within the area of responsibility
  • Attend training seminars as required
  • Ensure that all maintenance is done in accordance with federal, state, and municipal codes and guidelines
  • Suggest ideas or equipment modifications which will help lower production costs
  • Always work in a safe manner
  • Use protective guards/equipment provided
  • Must obey and use warning tags/signed when working on equipment
  • Comply with GMP's and safety policies
  • Must be conscious about quality issues to ensure the highest level of finished product
  • Report any unsafe acts to management
  • Maintain good housekeeping
  • Preventative and corrective maintenance as assigned by the Lead Electrician or Maintenance Supervisor

Profile

  • Knowledge and understanding of electrical circuits and industrial electrical systems
  • Familiar with building services such as water, heating, electrical, gas, etc. 
  • Knowledge of technical manuals and jargon associated with the electrical system operation, adjustment, and repair
  • Knowledge in the use of the following instruments/equipment; voltmeter, ohm meter, ammeter, micrometer, cutting torch, lathe, calipers, milling machine, drill press, grinder, pipe threading equipment, taps and dies, band saw, metal break and all other related hand tools
  • Ability to use a cutting torch and welder
  • Ability to comprehend facility blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Must be dependable and a team player
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work weekends and other off shifts as needed
