The group is working on primary processing products. During the harvest, Bonduelle is naturally exposed to the accidental presence of butterflies, caterpillars, etc. This exposure is all the greater since the group favours responsible farming, which encourages the development of animal life. The company therefore carries out inspections from the agricultural produce suppliers to the industrial processing. This monitoring is accompanied by audits to check they are properly applied.

Launched in October 2004, the Foundation is increasing the actions taken to bring about long-term changes in people's eating habits by working on vegetables, which are a major lever. Amongst other things, we can cite the creation of a theatre play in Italy on the principles of a balanced diet. And in France, the Vegetables 2000 operation, which concerned 16,000 students and suggested simple and clever ways to enjoy vegetables and incorporate them into their daily meals.
