Production Bonduelle's objective: to reap the benefits of nature whilst preserving the environment. In order to meet these requirements, the group is organised around rules and concepts applicable to everyone, from the agricultural produce suppliers to the industrial and commercial side.
Signing of the Supply Charter
The supply charter enables us to better control cultivation techniques and encourage cultivation practices that respect the environment. The document has become part of the group's quality systems. Outside Hungary and Russia, 100% of European farmers signed the Charter for the 2005 harvest.
Agricultural production serving nutrition
From the cultivation of the vegetable to the industrial stages, each system enables the vegetable to be prepared and its nutritional qualities preserved. Agronomy has determined the key stages that affect nutritional qualities: the time elapsed between the harvest and the final industrial processing stage as well as the variety selection and cultivation practices.
Guaranteeing traceability
The positioning and calculation of the parcel's dimensions is carried out by GPS throughout the entire group. The parcel record, which is now more detailed than ever before, backs up the information obtained. Bonduelle is breaking new ground with a new computer system that integrates all of the information and traceability details relating to the vegetable.
