2011-08-04 - Bonduelle, strong growth of 10.7% in annual turnover

  During the 2010 – 2011 financial year which closed on June 30th, the Bonduelle Group recorded turnover of €1,726m against €1,559.6m during the previous financial year, an increase of 10.7%. The successful integration of France Champignon for the full year (against three months in 2009 – 2010) and the transfer of the Belgian processed apple business in January 2010, as well as the changes to exchange rates have had a positive impact on turnover of 7.7% and 2.4% respectively. The highlight of this financial year with constant exchange rates and scope, the Group's business revived with growth: 0.6% against -2.2% on June 30, 2010. 2011-05-20 - Bonduelle opens an Italian plant at San Paolo d’Argon, the largest European production site for bagged green salad

  The very latest production unit at San Paolo d’Argon (Bergamo), the largest in Europe dedicated to the production of bagged green salad (known as the 4th range), was opened this morning in the presence of Christophe Bonduelle, Chairman of the Bonduelle Group. After being totally destroyed by a terrible fire in February 2008, this plant with a production capacity of 20,000 tonnes of finished product has been completely rebuilt on the site of the former plant according to the two-fold principle of modernity and respect for the environment. Particular emphasis has been placed on optimising flows, improving the environmental conditions of the critical areas and energy efficiency. It represents an investment of the order of 20 million euros, produces 17,500 tonnes of salad and employs 250 people.

2011-04-06 - Bonduelle and Ardo set up industrial joint venture in Spain and seal exclusive supply agreement with Findus.

    Wednesday, April 6th: The Ardo and Bonduelle groups, the leading producers of frozen vegetables in Europe, today announced their intention to set up an industrial joint venture with a view to supplying the Spanish and Portuguese markets with frozen vegetables. Key customers in these markets will include Findus with whom they have signed an exclusive supply agreement. At the same time, Bonduelle will transfer its Frudesa and Salto brands to Findus and Findus will take on the direct responsibility for sales and marketing of the three brands. .

2010-12-02 - Daniel Vielfaure is appointed as General Manager of the Bonduelle group

On 1 January 2011, Daniel Vielfaure, (49 years old and of Canadian nationality), will be taking up the post of General Manager of the Bonduelle group. He has already served as Assistant General Manager since August 2009, a post he combined with that of General Manager of the Bonduelle North America subsidiary, founded in 2007 following the acquisition of the Canadian Aliments Carrière group by the Bonduelle group.

2010-10-28 - Inauguration of the first Bonduelle plant in Brazil

Oton Nascimento, Secretary for Planning and Development for the State of Goiás, and Pierre Deloffre, Managing Director of the Bonduelle Group, together inaugurated the Bonduelle Group’s first industrial facility in Brazil at Marajo, in the Cristalina canton, on Tuesday. Production of canned peas had already begun there in mid-September.
