The winter 2013-2014 call for projects from the Louis Bonduelle Foundation is dedicated to food waste.
Every year, the Louis Bonduelle Foundation launches two calls for projects to help change nutritional behaviours: the winter call for projects in December and the summer call for projects in June.
This winter, the Louis Bonduelle Foundation once again chose to fight against food waste. Indeed, the last call for projects during the summer was focused on the same theme. It allowed for 8 projects to be subsidised, ranging from fruit gathering to cookery classes, and even awareness workshops.
In Europe, 89 million tonnes of food end up being thrown away, i.e. 282 kilos per second and 179 kg per person per year on average.*
If you have a project on the theme of food waste, submit your application to the Louis Bonduelle Foundation jury before 14 February 2014.
