On the occasion of the Paris International Agricultural Show, the Bonduelle Group has unveiled the newest version of its agronomic charter. The charter is an exclusive contractual commitment which covers the agricultural process in its entirety, from the seed through to the harvest. It ensures that the various specifications set out by Bonduelle are adhered to, such as, amongst others, crop management and the selection of plots and seeds and .
93% of Bonduelle's partner manufacturers have signed the agronomic charter, which was formalised by the group for the first time in 1996. The new edition takes into account the internationalisation of the group and the specific features of each different geographical zone and production process. It also brings to the fore new subjects such as the conservation of water and the protection of field labourers. The charter is the result of a joint effort between various agronomic managers working in different countries and industry sectors. It reflects Bonduelle's ongoing commitment to environmentally-friendly farming techniques.
