Westmeerbeek, 21 December 2009 – The Bonduelle Group has confirmed that it has reached a final agreement to sell its fruit and pickle production plant in Rijkevorsel, and the connected business, to the Belgian company Scana Noliko; the transfer of business and personnel will take place in late January 2010.
 


 

Today, during a works council meeting at Westmeerbeek, Bonduelle confirmed its decision to sell its Rijkevorsel plant (in Antwerp province), and all connected business, that is a turnover of 17 million euros, to the Belgian company Scana Noliko, located in Bree (Limbourg province).
 

Bonduelle and Scana Noliko have reiterated that this decision will not affect the 58 employees (51 workers, 7 administrative staff and the Business Unit Manager), who will remain in employment.
The actual transfer of the business and personnel will take place in late January 2010.
